Dr. Ernest Hendrix

Dr. Ernest Hendrix MD started his journey in healthcare as a Respiratory Therapist at Athens-Limestone Hospital. He went on to study at UAH and Athens State before earning his medical degree from the University of South Alabama in Mobile. After completing his residency at UAH Huntsville Hospital, he began working as an ER physician in 1992 and opened his own private practice just 2 years later in 1994.

With over 30 years of experience, Dr. Hendrix cares for patients from the “cradle to the grave and has a special passion for helping those struggling with addiction”. His compassion, experience, and dedication to his patients have made him a trusted name in our community.
